Too Faced "A Few of My Favorite Things" Holiday 2013 Eye and Face palette- Pictures, Swatches, and Thoughts

I am so excited to share with you today my thoughts, plus some pictures and swatches, of the amazing Too Faced "A Few of My Favorite Things" 2013 holiday eye and face palette. This palette is an absolute must for this holiday season, whether for yourself (which I highly recommend) or as a gift for the makeup junkie in your life. This is a full eye and and face palette that includes twenty eyeshadows (ranging in finishes from matte, satin, shimmer, and glittery), two blushes, two bronzers, a full size Lip Injection Color Bomb moisture plumping lip tint, a sample size of the Better Than Sex mascara, and a makeup bag. Woooh! That's a whole bunch of stuff, but let me tell you it's all good! All the shadows, blushes, and bronzers are super pigmented and buttery. If you've ever owned a Too Faced palette or one of their bronzers or blushes than you are already familiar with how amazing the quality and pigmentation of their products are. They all apply so beautifully to the skin and last such a long time without wearing or fading.

^Snowflakes- metallic champagne with a slight gold sheen

Whiskers on Kittens- matte light peach with gold micro-glitters (this is my least favorite shade in the palette. It's very sheer and slightly chalky)

Cream Colored Ponies- matte very pigmented cream

Honey Honey- shimmery metallic gold

(Chocolate Milk, Moon on Their Wings, Buche de Noel, Evergreen)

^Chocolate Milk- warm matte light/medium brown (this color is my new fave blending shade)

Moon on Their Wings- metallic pale gold with chunky gold glitter (this shade is very chunky, but when applied wet it is beautiful)

Buche de Noel- medium golden brown with a gold sheen (this shade is so gorgeous and unique)

Evergreen- shimmery forrest green

(Dark Chocolate and Blue Satin Sashes)

^Dark Chocolate- deep, dark matte brown

Blue Satin Sashes- matte deep blue with golden glitters

(Coquet, Taffy, Tinsel, Bluff)

^Cocquet- shimmery light pink with a golden sheen (this shade is gorgeous, unique, and beautiful)

Taffy- satin pink

Tinsel- cool toned gold (this shade is amazing and super interesting, it is also a dupe for UD Maui Wowie but even more beautiful)

Bluff- shimmery muted purple/taupe

(Crisp Apple Strudel, Woolen Mittens, Ooh La Orchid, Party Time)

^Crisp Apple Strudel- shimmery light/medium sandy brown

Woolen Mittens- medium matte brown

Ooh la Orchid- matte fuschia purple

Party Time- sheer blue with blue duo-chrome (this color shows up way more beautiful and pigmented when used over a base or with a damp brush)

(Soiree and Pure Glam)

^Soiree- matte burgundy maroon with purple shimmers (one of my favorite shades...duh)

Pure Glam- matte black filled with lots of silver glitter (my fiancee keeps begging me to use this color, he loves it)

(Raindrops on Roses and Chocolate Soleil bronzer)

(Melt into Spring and Sun Bunny dual bronzer)

^Raindrops on Roses- pink blush with gold shimmers

Melt into Spring- matte peach blush

^Chocolate Soleil bronzer- matte bronzer

Sun Bunny bronzer- shimmery light bronze and a darker shimmery bronze, when mixed together they create a medium shimmery bronze

Lip Injection Color Bomb! moisture plumping lip tint in "Bee Sting"

^This a rose tinted plumping lip crayon. Now if you do not like lip plumpers that tingle then you will hate this. This definitely has a strong tingle and a slight medicine smell, but the sheer rose color is beautiful and it really did plump my lips.

Better Than Sex mascara

^This is a black volumizing mascara that has a unique hourglass shape that is supposed to coat, seperate, and curl each lash. Now better than sex this most certainly is not, but it is a decent mascara. It had a nice rich black color and gave me good volume. I like to use this as a second layer to my lengthening mascara to really plump up my lashes.

Final Thoughts: I am absolutely 500% in love with this entire kit. I love that this includes everything to create any type of look you could want- from dramatic, to sexy, to just an everyday look. I feel like this palette is a must have for any makeup lovers collection, because it has some very unique yet wearable colors in it. I feel like the blushes and bronzers will suit most anyone's skin tone and the lip color is a beautiful neutral shade. I also am totally obsessed with the packaging of this product. Everything comes packaged inside a beautiful chevron printed makeup bag and the palette itself is also packaged in the same pink and gold chevron print. I've been asked if I had to choose between the Urban Decay Vice 2 and this palette which would it be and honestly I can't choose. I will say if you love wild, fun, shimmery shades go for the Urban Decay. If you are looking for a go-to palette for face and eyes, that has gorgeous/unique neutrals and fun shades go for this palette. The price of this palette is amazing for the amount of product and the value of all the products included- it's such a great deal. I am so happy to have this in my collection and can't wait to do some awesome looks for you guys!
