Since I got the Urban Decay Vice 2 palette I've been playing around with all the colors to see what kind of fun eye looks I can come up with. Today I used the gorgeous blues in the palette to create this smokey, sultry yet fun look. I just love playing around with colors and the Urban Decay palette has no shortage of intensely colorful shadows. I'm normally not the biggest fan of blue eye shadows on myself, but these blue shadows are so intense, so buttery, so silky and pigmented that I am totally in LOVE with how this look came out. I would definitely recommend that if you haven't picked up the UD Vice 2 palette yet, you need to do so before it is gone forever because I swear these shadows are top notch!
How To: EYES:
-Start off by applying your favorite eye primer all over the lids and underneath the lower lash line. You can apply a blue base to just the lids if you want, just keep it under the crease.
-Next, blend the shade "Habit" into the crease as your transition/blending shade. You want to bring this shadow pretty high up on your brow bone.
-Add a tiny but of "Dope" right under the arch of your brow bone to highlight.
-Take "Prank" on a small brush and apply it to the inner and outer corners of the lid and then bring it slightly into the crease to connect the two sides together.
-Dampen your brush and apply "Madness" right into the center of the lid. Blend the edges between the colors.
-Blend the shade "Rewind" into the crease to soften the line between your lid colors and your blending shade.
-Run "Madness" all the way underneath the lower lash line.
-Highlight around the tear ducts with a white/blue duo chrome shadow.
-Rim the eyes with black eyeliner.
-Add lots of mascara to the top and bottom lashes to finish off the eyes.
