Sedona Lace "The Babe Collection" - Thoughts and Swatches

Hey guys! I recently saw a video on YouTube featuring one of the palettes from the Sedona Lace "Babe Collection" and immediately I went onto their website to purchase the palette. Once I got on the site I saw that their were five quads total in the collection (you can purchase each separately or buy the whole collection) and that they were all on sale- so I bought the whole collection! Right now you can purchase each quad seperately for $7.77 or buy all five together for $29.97. I wanted to hurry up and get this post up for you guys, because their site said that the amount is limited and these shadows are so amazing that I was literally blown away. This is the first time I have ever purchased anything from Sedona Lace, but after trying out these shadows I'm really wanting to try out more things from them.

So this collection is called "The Babe Collection" and it has five different quads (palettes w/ 4 shades) that are interchangeable. Each shadow can be popped out and rearranged to create your own perfect palette. The shadows in this collection all have either a metallic, shimmery, or satin finish to them. Every shade is immensely pigmented and soft- most of the shades actually look pressed pigments they are so metallic and shimmery. I had very minimum fall out when I applied these to my lids, which is rare for shimmery shades. I also love that these shadows can be applied wet or dry for an even more intensely pigmented look. A lot of the shadows in this collection have a beautiful duo-chrome to them and each shade in these palettes are unique and special in their own way. I was really kind of scared when I ordered these because I had never tried this brand before and I also didn't look at any reviews or swatches before ordering. I literally was so pleased with how amazing these shadows performed and how different and unique these shadows looked. I already have a very large collection of eye shadows, so I love when I find products that are different from things I already own. I also really love the packaging of these palettes. I like that they are small and compact and also that you can switch out the colors to create your perfect palette.

Quad #1: DANIELA- Soft and Feminine-Embrace the power of femininity and have your heart’s desire eating out of your hand. This shimmer palette is sweet and simply gorgeous! Colors include; carnation, pink rose, orchid and violet

Violet- satin red based violet

Quad #2: DANA- A walk in the park, a picnic with your Lover? This shimmer palette is just perfect for you! Colors include; snow white, blush, green mist and cadet blue

Blush- metallic light peach-pink

Green Mist- metallic grass green with a gold sheen

Cadet Blue- metallic sky blue

Quad #3: ADRIENNE- Smokey and Seductive- Got a hot date? Feeling like a dramatic look? This shimmer palette will get you there! Colors include; dark gold, steel grey, pewter and triple black

Steel Grey- satin medium grey

Pewter- metallic medium silver grey 

Triple Black- satin-matte deep black (this black is awesome)

Quad #4: Suzanne- Sugar and Spice-Perfect for a day at the office but can also be amped up for a sexy night out on the town! This shimmer palette colors include; nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and brown sugar

Ginger- metallic copper

Brown Sugar- metallic deep golden brown

Quad #5: BRIDGETTE- Creating Magic-This shimmer palette is perfect for a day at the beach! Or on any sun kissed face! Colors include; sunstone, sandy quartz, copper and amethyst

FINAL THOUGHTS: I think this collection is gorgeous and intensely pigmented. I love that they have a an awesome mix of fun colors, everyday colors, and smokey colors. It's got the most perfect colors for the Fall/Winter season. A couple things that bother me a bit are that all the shades are metallic or shimmery, (except for the black) so you do have to pull from other colors if you want some matte colors in your look. I also don't like that they didn't put the shade names on the back of the pans so that you know what's what if you move them around. Other than that I am absolutely in love with all these shades and I seriously recommend if you want to pick these shadows up I would do it now while they are on sale for such an awesome price.
