This eye look is based off of this new shirt I got for my birthday. Anyone who knows me, knows that the Little Mermaid is my all time favorite movie and has been since I was about 3 years old. It is even one of the reasons my hair is bright red. So when my fiancee and I saw this shirt, he just had to get it for me. This shirt is just completely me! I love the glittery bright red writing and lips and the darkness of the shirt and Ariel herself. It just reminds me of a very goth-like Ariel.
So for this look I decided to go with a super dark smokey-ish eye, using blacks and dark brown with just a pop of glittery red in the inner corner. I decided that since the eyes were so dark and intense I would keep the face and lips quite neutral so that the eyes could be the focal point of the look.

I always love a good smokey eye and I think this is a fun, dramatic variation on one. I seriously am in love with my shirt and the way the makeup complements it. I wore this look out shopping today and got a few compliments on it and a LOT on the shirt, lol. I know this dark look isn't for everyone, but it's fun and I feel like that's what applying makeup should be.
Have an awesome night <3
