Tropical Inspired Eyes & Glossy Pink Lips - Makeup Tutorial using the Urban Decay Electric Palette

Happy Hump Day Makeup Junkies! Today's makeup tutorial is inspired by colors you would find on a tropical vacation. I used the Urban Decay Electric palette, which I am absolutely loving right now, to create the entire eye look. Every time I use this palette, I am surprised at how pigmented they are and how easily they blend. Out of all the bright shadows I have used, these are definitely some of the best. Since I've had the palette, I've mainly stuck to using the pinks, purple, and blue shades in the palette; so I decided it was about time I did a look using the gorgeous greens. Since the eyes are so dramatic and the main focus of the look, I kept the rest of the face more toned down. I focused on keeping the skin dewy and glowing, then added glossy baby pink lips to complete the look. I am super happy with how everything came together and I think this is a perfect look for Summer!

    1. Thanks so much, and I bet you could carry a look like this off. I used to think I couldn't wear color, but it just took me playing around and seeing what works. One thing you could do to make this look more wearable, is to do a neutral look on your top lid, then keep the bright colors on the lower lash line. That's how I wear colors when I'm not wanting to be too crazy and out there. Hope that helps and feel free to message me any time!! <3
