Small Walgreen's Makeup Haul & Swatches - New Covergirl & Wet 'n Wild Products!

Happy Friday makeup junkies! I've been feeling really yucky lately, so to cheer myself up I took a ride to my local Walgreens. I had to return a foundation that I didn't like and of course once there, I couldn't resist picking up some of the new products that have came out recently. It seems like right now every brand in the drugstore has a new Summer collection out, so I limited myself to only picking up a few things. I knew going in that I really wanted to pick up the new Covergirl "Ready Set Gorgeous" foundation and concealer, since the foundation I had returned was their other new "whipped" foundation (it looked horrible on my skin). While there I also picked up one of the new Wet 'n Wild Fergie highlighters and one of their limited edition (LE) lipsticks, as well. I'm absolutely loving all the products I picked up and can't wait to create some looks for ya'll. So to see swatches and thoughts on the things I bought, just keep reading!

Wet 'n Wild Fergie Centerstage Collection To Reflect shimmer palette- Photo Bomb

$5.99
-This shimmer powder is a gorgeous pale yellow gold  highlighter. Although it's called a shimmer powder, it doesn't have any chunks of glitter or shimmer. I have pretty fair skin, so I was a little worried that this would show up too yellow or overly gold, but it just gave my skin a beautiful pale gold sheen that was just gorgeous. I also love that for the price you get such a substantial amount of product and it's actually a really great product. The powder also came with a kabuki brush included, which I don't understand why it's even in there since most people aren't going to use this all over their face. I found the bristles of the brush to be kind of rough and it really sheds, so if I don't just trash it I'll give it to my little sister. I just feel like they could have left the brush out, but other than that I'm in love with this product.

Wet 'n Wild Fergie "FOMO" Lipstick

$3.59
-Say hello to my new favorite drugstore nude lipstick. This is a light beige nude with a creamy satin finish. I think this nude lipstick is perfect for us pale girls; it's light without looking dead, it isn't too brown or peach, and it has a healthy sheen to it which again keeps you from looking like an extra on the Walking Dead.

Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Concealer- 105-110

$8.99
-This concealer is meant to help conceal dark circles and imperfections, is oil free, and won't clog pores. I used this concealer earlier today and I do like it. I loved that this shade is a little lighter in tone than the foundation, so it worked great to help highlight and brighten my face. It has decent coverage, I would say medium, and I didn't find it sank into my fine lines under my eyes. I'm going to have to play around with this concealer a little more to see what's the best way to apply it, but I really think I'm going to like it.

Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation- 105

$8.99
-This foundation is said to give "Flawless, natural look that last's all day, blends easily to even skin tone, and reduces shine all day. It is also oil free, won't clog pores, and is suitable for sensitive skin. I also wore this foundation for the first time today and I actually really love it! I applied it with my beauty blender and found that it applied easily, blended flawlessly, covered nicely, and looked natural on my skin. It has medium coverage, but I found that you could build it. I've had the foundation on for 7 hours so far and it still looks like it did this morning and I'm not shiny at all. I think this is a perfect foundation for the warm Summer months.

Hope ya'll enjoyed this haul and let me know if you've tried any of these products out and what you think of them!
