Un-Bagging: IPSY Glam Bag "Glam It Up" November 2013

Hey guys! I was so excited when I opened my mailbox and saw that lovely hot pink envelope nestled inside. I immediately jumped and squealed, then ran into my house so I could rip into it and see what was inside. Now for those of you who have been living under the proverbial rock and aren't quite sure what an "IPSY Glam Bag" is, it's a $10/month beauty subscription service. Like most of these services you begin by taking a style quiz, which allows them to best pick your products. Then every month you receive 5+ deluxe samples to full size beauty products (most of the time they're all full sized) that have to do with their theme for the month. I am subscribed to a few different subscription services and by far IPSY is my all time favorite. They give the most makeup and the best products for your money and I am always happy, if not down right in love with, every bag I get and this month is no exception.

This month's theme was "Glam It Up" and the products I received are perfectly suited for creating a glamorous look. All five of the products I received this month were full sized. One thing I wish IPSY would do that they don't, is include information and pricing on each of the items in your bag that way you would know how much each item costs and exactly how to use them. Since they don't, I decided I would look up each item's cost for you and include a little bit of info on each one as well.

Kiss Ever EZ Lashes- 03
Full Sized: $5.99
^I am a huge fan of Kiss lashes and these in particular are some of my all tume favorites. The bands are super thin and the lashes themselves are very light weight. They are great quality and can also be re-used over and over if you know how to correctly remove them. Also for those of you who aren't so great at applying lashes, all of Kiss lashes come with a lash applicator to make the process much easier. These particular lashes look so natural on beautiful on the eyes. They give length and add a bit of thickness, as well. I am so happy that a double pack of these were included in this month's bag, because NO glamorous look is complete without an awesome pair of falsies.

Pixi Beauty Bronzer- Subtly Suntouched
Full Size: $18.00
^I'm pretty positive this a full sized product, because if it's not this is seriously a nice size sample. This bronzer is a light brown with a neutral undertone and a slight satin finish. This is one of the most natural bronzing powders I have ever used and I have to say I really love it. The color is perfect for my fair skin tone and the slightly satin finish mimics the effect of natural skin. I already know I'm going to be using this bronzer all throughout the colder months as my skin gets even paler.

Nailtini nail lacquer- Caviar Cocktail
Full Size: $13.00
^This is a full sized nail polish, however they also sell a half sized bottle for $6.00 on their website if you're wanting to just try it out. I have never tried out any Nailtini polishes before, but had heard really positive things about them on beauty blogs so I was excited to try it out. The color of this polish is a pretty metallic gunmetal. The formula is really nice and opaque in just one coat and it also applied smoothly without skipping. I currently am wearing this shade on my toes and I really like it.

Be A... Bombshell- Shameless
Full Size: $14.00
^Full size. I am always a fan of the little lip crayons and this one is no exception. The color is deep rosy pink with silver glitters. It applies super pigmented and feels so silky, moisturizing, and smooth on the lips. This lip crayon actually stains your lips, so it lasts for hours even after the initial color wears off. I'm normally not a fan of glitters in lip colors, but since this one does stain the lips you're not left with just no color and glitters. The one huge downside to this product, and a lot of Be a... Bombshell's products, are that they contain a large amount of parabens.

Starlooks Gem Pencil- Amethyst
Full Size: $14.00
^Full Size. This is honestly one of the best and most beautiful eyeliners I own. This liner is a gorgeous shimmery lavender color. I was really surprised by how smoothly this pencil glided on and how long it lasted. Normally shimmery liners like this feel chunky or gritty, but this one is so soft and buttery feeling. I love how pretty this pencil looks with my brown eyes, it really enhances them. They have a bunch of different shades of these pencils on Starlook's website, so I'm definitely going to look into getting more of them.

EM Waterliner intense color liner- Sunshine Yellow
Full Size: $20.00
^Full Size. Now normally I would be like kind of annoyed that they included two eyeliners in my bag, but in this case I am so happy they did because both liners are awesome. This liner is a shimmery light golden yellow that really brightens and opens up your eyes. The formula glides on super easy and actually sticks and grabs onto your waterline. The color payoff is beautiful and it actually lasted without fading for a few hours. I was a little unsure of how the color would look on me, but it actually looked really pretty. The light, soft gold really complimented and brightened up my eyes and I'm super happy to have it as part of my collection. I've only tried a couple things from the EM by Michelle Phan makeup line, but so far everything I've tried I really like and I'm hoping to try out more.

Final Thoughts: If I'm correct about all of these products being full sized, then this month's bag was worth around $84- which for a $10 bag that's pretty much amazing. I am super happy with all the products I received and look forward to seeing what they have in store for December, because I can only imagine it will be great!
