Fall Favorites: MAC Lipsticks

The Fall/Autumn season has always been my favorite for makeup. The deep dark jewel tones and smokey shades come out and it literally makes me the happiest girl ever! Now I wear deep lip colors all year round, but there are certain shades I have reserved especially for the cooler months, such as my super blackened purple shades. So the second it turns September they are pulled out my drawers and put right into my ever changing lipstick carousel. Now I have a very large collection of lipsticks ranging from high-end to drugstore and out of all of them MAC makes some of my all time favorites- period. MAC has a multitude of different colors and finishes, so they literally make a shade for everyone. I have compiled my top 7 favorite Fall MAC shades to share with you today, so I hope ya'll enjoy and that this helps you out if you're looking for a new Autumn lipstick. ^Diva (matte finish) $15.00 

MAC describes this shade as an intense reddish burgundy. This is a gorgeous classic deep matte red lipstick. It applies smooth and is very opaque. I think this shade is the perfect Fall red to be worn daily or you can wear it at night with just as much impact.

^Film Noir (Satin) $15.00

MAC describes this lipstick as an intense brown shade. This is one of my new favorite lipsticks. It is definitely intense and for sure not for everyone, but it really is a gorgeous shade. I feel like this lipstick is much deeper in person, than in pictures and it also has a slight hint of red in it as well. I know a lot of people are afraid of wearing brown lipsticks, but because this does have that tiny hint of red in it, it's more wearable.

^Rebel (Satin)

This is described as a midtonal cream plum. This lipstick is a huge fan favorite and for good reason. If you are looking for the perfect berry lipstick that will suit any and everyone, this one is it. 

^Cyber (Satin)

MAC describes this shade as an intense blackish purple. This is certainly not a lipstick for the faint of heart. It is a deep shiny purple that almost looks black. I love to wear this lipstick with just some eyeliner and mascara. This is the perfect deep lipstick to give you that goth-chic look that so in style for the season.

^Sin (matte)

This lipstick is described as a deep dark blue red. This lipstick looks a lot like Diva, but is a bit deeper and a bit more blue based. Just like with Diva, I feel like this is a perfect deep red for everyday wear or for when you're just looking to vamp up a look.

^Smoked Purple (matte)

MAC describes this lipstick as a deep eggplant purple. This is Cyber's matte twin sister. This lipstick looks almost black on the lips and the matte texture allows it to stay in place without bleeding, which is why MAC's matte lipsticks are my favorites.

^Myth (Satin)

This is described as a light neutral nude. I had to throw in my favorite nude lipstick, because I feel like nude lips are perfect for any time and any season and Myth is one of my all time favorites. This lipstick is very light and leans more on the peach-y nude side. This lipstick looks good on lots of skin tones, but I find it especially flattering on fair to light skin tones. It also works really well with most all eye looks, as well.
