Toxic: An Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette How-to

Hey guys! Today I have a how-to for you all, using the new Urban Decay Vice 2 palette. I wanted to feature the eyeshadow "Toxic" from the palette, as the star of the look. This shadow is so unique and unlike any other shadow I have. It's a gorgeous peach/pink/copper shade with a hot pink duo-chrome. The shadow itself gives such a beautiful look on it's own that it doesn't need many other shadows to make the look pop, so I used just a couple neutral matte shades from the palette in the crease to create a very blown out soft look. I also used a few other shadows from 2 different palettes to add to this look, but they are very common shades that you could find anywhere- such as a light matte cream, shimmery pink toned champagne, and a light matte pink toned brown. However, if you don't own the UD Vice 2 palette, you may have a difficult time trying to find a shade exactly like "Toxic." I would suggest substituting a peach or pink shadow, or mixing the two together to sort of create a similar effect. As for the face I kept everything light and natural, with a lightly contoured face, pink cheeks, and porcelain demi-matte skin, Now when I say "porcelain skin" I don't necessarily mean the color needs to be porcelain, I mean the finish of the skin should look almost porcelain by having a more matte appearance. The best way to create this look is by using a loose translucent powder all over the skin and a matte bronzer/blush.  I really hope you guys like this look and continue reading on for the full eye and face how-to.

How To: EYES
-Start off your look by priming your eyes with your favorite eyeshadow primer.
-Apply "Toxic" from the Urban Decay Vice 2 palette all over your eyelid, staying right under the crease and leaving the very outer corner of your eye free of color.
-On a large fluffy blending brush, fluff the shade "Habit" into your upper crease to act as your blending shade. If you are light skinned like me this shadow will work perfect for this purpose. If you are medium to deep skinned, this shadow will still work but it can also work as your brow highlight as well.
-Then take a matte pink toned light brown shadow and apply it right into the crease, staying under your blending shadow. You want your crease to have a very soft blown out, blended look to it.
-On a small blending brush, apply "Rewind" into the socket line and outer corner of the eye.
-Highlight the brow bone with a matte light cream shadow. You want this color to stay right under the brow bone.
-On the lower lash line, you want to run "Habit" from inner to outer corner. Then apply "Rewind" right underneath the lashes and then apply "Toxic" into the inner corner.
-Highlight around the tear ducts with a light pink-y champagne shadow to brighten up the eyes. You could use the shade "Dope" from the palette, but I wanted a more shimmery shadow.
-With a liquid liner, line the upper lash line winging it out slightly at the outer edges. Then rim your eyes with a black kohl liner.
-Curl your lashes and apply mascara to the top and bottom lashes to complete the look.

-Set your whole face with a light-weight translucent powder to create an airbrushed effect to the skin.
-Next, take a cool toned contouring powder and apply to the hollows of your cheeks, up the sides of your temples, and under your jaw bone. You can also contour the sides of your nose if you're comfortable doing so.
-Apply a matte light pink blush to the apples of your cheeks and blend upwards.
-You want to apply your eyebrows as naturally as possible or just use a tinted brow gel.
-Apply a sheer gloss to your lips and you're completely finished with the entire look.
