Hey guys! Today's how-to is on this dramatic neutral cut crease with an intense pop of purple and glitter on the lower lash line. I was trolling instagram looking at some pictures of cut creases and it got me wanting to create one of my own. I wanted to create a look that was neutral on top, but had an intense pop of color on the lower lash line and of course I had to add glitter just for the hell of it. I haven't really been creating super dramatic looks lately, so I figured it was time for a change. I am so happy with how this look came out. So much so that I'm planning on doing the same look tomorrow, but with red glitter on the bottom for a football game. I really hope ya'll like this look and keep reading for a full eye and face how-to.
How To: EYES
-Start off by applying a primer all over the lid and lower lash line. Also, you want to add a skin tone colored base to the lid. You can apply tape to the outer edge of the eye to help with your cut crease, or you can use a makeup wipe to clean up the outer edge if you're comfortable creating a cut crease on your own.
-Apply a light cream colored shadow all over the lid as a base.
-Then, on a big fluffy brush, fluff a light warm toned matte brown into the upper crease. I think the best way to create a perfect looking cut crease is to layer colors, so you get a nice gradient effect and so you can build the intensity where you want it.
-Take a slightly darker warm matte brown and blend it right under the first brown. Then use another slightly deeper brown and blend it into the crease and bring it down into the outer 1/2 of the lid.
-Take a deep, dark matte brown on a small brush and apply it into the socket line and outer corner. You want this color to slightly wing out in the outer corner. You also want to go back and blend it into the other shadows, so that they blend nicely.
-Touch up the color on the lid and anywhere else you feel needs more color.
-Apply gel liner to the upper lash line, winging it out at the outer corner. You want your wing to line up with the outer edge of the shadow and you also want your liner to be thick and the wing to be big. Rim the entire eye with the black gel liner as well.
-On the lower lashline, run a bright matte purple from inner to outer corner. I also brought this color up along the outer corner of the upper lid, then smudged it out so you just barely see it.
-I mixed a purple and a silver glitter liner together and applied it all the way under the lower lash line. You can use loose glitter if you don't have the glitter liners.
-Apply lots of mascara to the upper and lower lashes and the eyes are finished!

How To: FACE
-Apply a smoothing primer all over your face.
-Then using a BeautyBlender, or a damp sponge, bounce a full coverage foundation all over your face and blend down onto your neck. I always feel that if you're going to have dramatic eyes you need to balance that out by having flawless skin.
-Apply concealer under the eyes and on any spots or imperfections.
-Set everything with powder, so there is no shine and so your foundation lasts all day.
-Contour your cheekbones with a cool toned matte powder, then add bronzer around your temples, jaw line, and anywhere else you want to warm up.
-Apply a warm caramel toned blush to the backs of your cheekbones and bring slightly down onto the apples.
-Fill in your brows like you normally would. I just used a tinted brow gel, because I was in a hurry.
-Apply a purple toned lip color to your lips. If purple lips is too much for you, just apply a nude lip or some clear gloss. I ended up wearing a nude lip later in the day.
Beautiful .. you look gorgeous ..
