Well yesterday I filmed my first ever makeup video for Youtube. It was a fun little Get ready with me style video and the filming went just fine, but once I tried to upload it after I edited the video it just wouldn't work and was freezing my computer up. So for the last ah I'd say 37 hours I have been filming, editing, trying to upload on window's movie maker, failing, downloading software, editing, downloading file converters, editing, failing, and so on. I just couldn't find editing software that would work for the video or either the converter wouldn't work so therefor I couldn't even upload it to the editing software. Thankfully I have an amazing fiancee who was determined to find something for me to be able to edit my videos with, so we got a trial run on a converter and finally I was able to use my windows movie maker to edit it. It left a fun little watermark on the video but as far as I am concerned I finally was able to upload it, which is a relief in itself. I'm going to purchase the full program so I won't have some logo printed on my face anymore, yay!
I'm still in the process of finding the correct software as well as perfecting my filming setup and getting used to being in front of the camera period. Hopefully soon I will have things the way I like them, because I have to say I absolutely enjoyed filming the video just like I knew I would.
I would love to know any advice ya'll might have for me about filming and/or editing the videos.
