Hey guys! Hope everyone had an amazing Christmas, I know I sure did and I'm super excited to be back today with a fun, super sparkly New Year's Eve look. For my first NYE look, I wanted to do a classic silver and black smoky eye, but with a whole bunch of glitter. So that's how this look came to be. Since the eyes are the main focus of this look, I kept the rest of the face neutral. I used a full coverage foundation to get a flawless look to my skin and added some glossy nude-pink lips to pull everything together. Looking back on this look, though, I really think a cherry red lip would look sick, so if I could go back and change anything that would be it! So if you're interested in seeing how to achieve this look for yourself just keep on reading!
How To: EYES
-Apply your favorite all over your lid and underneath your lower lash line. Then apply a silver base to your lids only.
-On a large fluffy brush, blend a light matte brown shadow into your upper crease to act as your transition/blending shadow. This color will help the crease blend out better and help ground the look. You also want to run this shadow right underneath the lower lash line, from the inner to the outer corner.
-Highlight the brow bone with a matte cream shadow. You want your transition shadow and your brow highlight to be matte, since the rest of the look is very shimmery.
-Apply a sparkly silver shadow to the inner 3/4 of the lid. You want to bring this shadow up into the crease a bit.
-On a small blending brush, blend a shimmery black shadow into the outer corner and up into the crease. Make sure you focus the intensity of the shadow in the outer corner, then fade it into your crease. Run a little bit of this shadow into the outer corner of the lower lash line.
-Add a glitter base everywhere you applied the silver shadow, around the tear ducts, and the inner corner of the lower lash line. Then add lots of silver glitter right on top. I also used a silver glitter liner to add more sparkle in certain places.
-Use a makeup wipe to clean up any fall out and to sharpen up the outer corner.
-Rim your eyes with a deep black eye pencil.
-Curl your lashes and apply mascara. Then add false lashes on top for added drama!

How To: FACE
-Apply your favorite foundation primer all over your face, to ensure that your foundation lasts all night.
-Buff a full coverage foundation all over your face and blend down onto your neck. You want to use a foundation with little to no SPF in it, to minimize your risk of flash back from all those pictures you're going to take.
-Apply a brightening concealer underneath your eyes in a triangle shape, then blend it in.
-Set your foundation with powder to take down the shine, then set under your eyes with a lighter powder to further enhance the brightness.
-Use a matte bronzer to contour and shape your face. Since this is a dramatic, night time look I wanted to have a dramatic contour as well.
-Add a matte pink blush to the backs of your cheek bones and blend out.
-Apply a shimmery highlighting powder anywhere you want to highlight. I used a ton of highlighter, because hello it's NYE and what better excuse do you need to use shimmer.
-Fill in your brows as usual.
-Add a light pink/nude lipstick to your lips and top it off with a sparkly lip gloss to add some more sparkle and shine.
-Set everything with a makeup setting spray, so you can dance your butt off without having to worry about sweating your makeup off!
Well guys, I hope you all enjoyed this look. I plan on getting one or two more New Year's looks up before Wednesday. Have a great night everyone!
