My Go-To Spring Night Out Look featuring the Whitening Lightning "Figi" Lip Gloss

Hi makeup junkies! Today I wanted to share with ya'll my go-to night out look for Spring time. This is the eye and face look that I tend to go to most during the warm months, for when I want a glamorous and flawless look without being too heavy. Now since this is a night time look, I did use a good bit of products. However, the key to this look not being too heavy is to: use thin layers of product to build upon and to really blend in the products as you go. Now when I go out at night I love to do a good smokey eye, but I don't like to go super dark and dramatic. So I like to use light golden and very warm brown shades to create a simple smokey eye, then I add some thick winged liner, a little glitter, and false lashes to really amp up the look. As for the face, I wanted the skin to look flawless but still natural; so I used a medium coverage foundation to even out my skin, then used cream products to highlight and contour my face, then setting those with powder products. By doing this, you get a very flawless, sculpted effect. I used Whitening Lightning's Color Your Smile lip gloss in "Figi", which is a gorgeous hot pink, on the lips to add a fun pop of color to the look.  To see the full how-to and the full list of products used, just keep reading!

How To: EYES
-Apply your favorite primer or base all over your lids and underneath the lower lash line.
-Highlight under your brow with a matte cream shadow, then blend a light warm brown shadow into your crease. This shadow will help you blend out the deeper shades easier.
-Blend a slightly deeper warm brown into the crease, making sure to blend it into the previous color. The key to this look not looking super dramatic or crazy, is to blend, blend, blend!
-Apply a shimmery, pale golden shadow to the inner 2/3s of your lid.
-On a very small blending brush, blend a dark warm brown shadow right into your socket and down into your outer corner. You want the highest concentration of color to be right in your lower crease, but you do want to take a clean fluffy brush and blend it slightly into the other shades. You may need to go back and forth between adding color and blending to get the desired look.
-Using a deep, burnt orange shadow on a loose fluffy brush, you want to just blend this color right over the crease shades and down into the outer corner. This is going to further help blend out the shadows and also give it a beautiful warm orange glow.
-Using a glitter adhesive or setting spray, apply a transparent glitter right over the gold shadow to really liven up the eyes. I used MAC's Reflects "Pearl".
-Apply thick, winged black liner (liquid or gel) to the upper lash line, then rim your eyes with a black kohl liner.
-You also want to run the kohl liner underneath the lower lash line, then use the dark brown shadow to really smudge it out. Use the orange shadow to blend the line out even more. It is totally up to you how low you want to bring your shadow down.
-Highlight around the tear ducts with a shimmery white/pearl shadow.
-Apply false lashes and a few coats of mascara to make the look even more glamorous.

How To: FACE & LIPS
-Apply a light infusing primer all over your face, this will not only help your makeup last longer but it will also brighten and lift your complexion.
-Buff a medium coverage foundation all over your face, making sure to blend it down to your neck so there are no yucky lines.
-Apply a long wearing concealer under your eyes and to any blemishes or redness you may have. Then use a lighter concealer to highlight under the eyes and down the center of the face.
-Take a concealer, foundation, or a cream bronzer and apply it under the cheekbones, sides of the temples, and anywhere else you want to contour. Make sure you really buff and blend the product out so there are no lines. The key to cream contouring and highlighting is making sure you don't use too much product and you really blend it in.
-Use a pale powder to set everywhere you applied the light concealer, then use a powder that matches your foundation to set everything else. Some people choose to set their cream contour with a bronzer, but I like to use a light layer of powder first just so when I do apply the powder bronzer it doesn't stick or skip.
-Use a matte bronzer to sculpt and contour your face, then add a matte neutral blush to the backs of your cheekbones.
-Apply a shimmery highlighting powder to the tops of the cheekbones and anywhere you want to have a glow.
-Fill in your brows like you normally would. For a night out I like to go a little darker with my brows, to really accentuate them.
-Apply a hot pink lipstick or gloss to your lips to add a fun pop of color to your look.
