What's In My September IPSY Glam Bag??

Hey guys I was so excited to have received my September IPSY Glam Bag in the mail that I had to hurry up and take pictures and post them on here for you. For those of you who don't know what IPSY is, it's a $10 monthly subscription service where you take a style quiz and each month you are sent a selection of 4-5 beauty products (deluxe samples to full size). Every month you get a different bag with a different theme.  The theme this month was "Classic Beauty" and the items that I received fit the bill perfectly.  This bag included some awesome sheet masks for your face, a gorgeous charcoal shadow, smokey black kohl pencil, black mascara, and a perfect red lip balm. I have to say I have been so blown away with IPSY the last few months, they really have impressed me with not only the products they send out but also the presentation of the entire bag. Since signing up about 5-ish months ago I have not found myself disappointed once. Which is way more than I can say with Glossybox at this point, but that's a whole different story for a different day.

Freeman Paper Masks:

^ I have been a fan of the Freeman face masks since I was a little kid and these sheet masks are rather new to their collection. I haven't tried these yet, but am super excited to try them tomorrow when I wake up.

Cailyn Tinted Lip Balm- The Big Apple

^I have to say I really love the whole concept of this lip balm. The little pot comes with a built in brush that hides in the top and the color and pigmentation is absolutely stunning. When I saw that this was a lip balm I figured it would go on quite sheer, but to the contrary it actually goes on quite opaque. The color is a beautiful "apple" red and the formula is not super hydrating, but still quite comfortable. I also found that this balm gives a nice stain to the lip and lasts for a long time.

NYX single eyes hadow- Charcoal

^I'm a huge fan of all things NYX and there shadows are no exception. This is a beautiful soft satin charcoal grey with fine silver shimmers that feels buttery soft and applies wonderfully to the lid

Starlooks Kohl Eye Pencil- Obsidian

^I feel like you can never go wrong with a black eye pencil and this one I was quite impressed with. This kohl pencil applied smoothly and was nicely pigmented. I was so happy to have received this because normally I always receive some weird colored liner (like a hot pink one from Birchbox) from these subscription services and black is not only practical, but something I use every day.

Elizabeth Mott "It's So Big" volumizing mascara

^I haven't tried this mascara yet, or ever heard of this brand period. The wand looks really cool so I'm excited to try this tomorrow.

em The Life Palette

^This was a little bonus pamphlet that was included talking about Michelle Phan's (Youtube guru and one of the creators of IPSY) new makeup line- em. This showed a full size diagram of the "Life Palette", a how-to eye look, and a little paper sample of 3 shadows and a blush.
