First Impression: Urban Decay Vice 2 palette w/ swatches

So Urban Decay has recently launched their holiday 2013 collection and out of the things they released I knew I had to purchase the Vice 2 palette. I am a big fan of all Urban Decay palettes and over the last couple years I've made it a point to purchase all of their big palettes and have accumulated quite a collection. That being said I was slightly disappointed when I bought the Vice palette last year because while there were some really great shadows in their, there were a lot that were really bad in pigment and consistency and not to mention just unwearable period. However, I am absolutely IN LOVE with the Vice 2 palette. Their selection of colors is so perfect for not only this time of year, but the whole year. This palette has jewel tones, neutrals, smokey colors, duo-chromes, and a selection of fun yet wearable bright colors. The pigmentation of the shadows in honestly awesome. I only had trouble with one of the shadows not showing up very pigmented, (Lovesick), but one out of twenty is amazing compared to the 5 out of twenty the last palette had. All the shadows in this palette are previously unreleased, all brand new colors to the Urban Decay collection. This palette sells for $59 and is limited edition, so when it is gone it's gone- so get it while you can. I'm seriously pleased with this palette and so happy to have it in my collection. While I have a pretty extensive eye shadow collection, all of these shadows have something unique about them that make them unlike anything else I own. I have to say that if you're going to purchase a holiday eye palette this year, the Urban Decay Vice 2 is the way to go.

Overall thoughts: I think this palette is perfection. I was so happy that this palette came with such a great mix of colors and actually gave you colors that you can do a full look with. There's nothing I hate more than having a large palette and still having to use other shadows to be able to create a complete look. The packaging is beautiful and practical and sleek enough for me to able to store it with out it getting in the way. I feel like for the price this palette is an awesome deal and I feel like if you are a big eye shadow wearer and you don't mind some color in your life, then you need this palette. I'm still doing little happy dances all over my house every time I look at the beautiful colors, much to the amusement of my fiancee and kitties. I have to tell everyone to go check this palette out before it's gone, because I know you won't regret it.
