Foundation Routine using MACs studio fix fluid, foundation routine for hot weather

This is a step-by-step guide to my everyday foundation routine when I want good coverage.  Some quick info about my skin: I have dry/combination skin and right now it's that wonderful time of the month so I do have a few active breakouts. I also am on my third day of using a retinol peel so my skin is quite red and splotchy and slightly sensitive so I wanted to use a trusted foundation that won't cause any extra irritation and also I needed something that could cover the redness and even out my skintone, so I decided to use my trusty MAC studio fix fluid. I've been using this foundation for years and I just love the way it applies, how it lasts, and also how it looks on my skin. I've had a lot of people complain to me about this foundation and I have to say if you have super dry or super oily skin you may not like this foundation. I have found the best way to apply it is with a damp beauty blender. It blends it out perfectly and allows it to be applied with no cakiness. Right now I am in between shades so I mix NC15 and NW15 together to get the correct shades. I feel like this foundation routine is perfect for the hot weather because of the long wearing products.
This is me with absolutely no makeup. All I have on is my cetaphil moisturizer

I apply Neutrogena healthy skin primer all over my face and pat it on.

Next, I dot the 2 shades all over my face and use a damp beauty blender to blend it out all over my face and down my neck

This is how my foundation looks after it's blended in

Next I use my MAC long wear in NC15 concealer and apply it under the eyes and on any imperfections. I also apply a little bit of the Maybelline fit me concealer in 15 fair under my eyes as well

This is my face after the concealer is applied. I then spray a couple spritzes of the Urban Decay all nighter makeup setting spray to my face before powder.

I use the Revlon photoready powder in transluscen finisher under my eyes then apply the MAC MSF natural in light plus all over the rest of my face and neck to set the foundation and concealer in place. I live in Louisiana where the humidity is insane so I have to use a powder and the MSF natural gives a gorgeous, natural  (hence the name) finish to the skin.

I then contour and bronze my cheekbones, temples, ears, and jawline with the NYX matte bronzer in light. I have also really been into contouring my nose and chin as well

I then applied Milani baked blush in berry amore (i'm really trying to love this shade as it is so pretty I'm just not sure it looks great on my skin) to the apple of my cheeks, sweeping back. Then I highlight the tops of my cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose, and my cupid's bow with MAC's MSF in "soft & gentle"

This is my look all finished with my eye makeup also done. After I am finished with all my makeup I then spray my face with the Urban Decay all nighter makeup setting spray again just to set everything, remove the powdery look of the skin, and also to just ensure that my makeup lasts through out the hot, humid La summer weather. Also that is my baby Cheesecake (one of my amazing 6 kitties). He was very curious about the pictures mommy was taking lol
