Cherie Merie: A Coral and Brown Summer Smokey Eye

Hey guys! Today I wanted to do a fun Summer version of a smokey eye using coral and browns. I had bought all the Loreal Infallible limited edition eyeshadows from their Spring/Summer collection a couple months ago and had played around with all the colors except for the coral colored one called "Cherie Merie."  It's a gorgeous shimmery coral shade that applied nicely to the lid and gave a fun pop of color. I feel like this eye look would be perfect for day or night  and looks beautiful on all skin tones. I used warm browns to ground the look and make it more wearable. I loved that these colors really accentuated my brown eyes but I feel this color would be gorgeous on blue or green eyes as well because of the orangey/pink of the coral shade. I also added MAC's pigment in "melon" to the inner corners as the golden peach shade complemented the rest of the colors wonderfully. As for the rest of the face I stuck with the coral and brown theme by bronzing up my face with a warm, slightly orange-y tone bronzer and then used a coral blush and golden highlight. I only used a coral gloss on the lips, because I felt like a lipstick would've been a little too much for this look.
