Unboxing: IPSY Glam Bag March 2014 + Makeup Look

Hello my fellow makeup junkies, I hope everyone of you is having a great weekend! I really wanted to hop on here real quick, so I could show ya'll what I received in my March IPSY Glam Bag. This month's theme is "Destination Beauty" and the bag came with some awesome products to prepare you for the upcoming, and much needed, warmer weather. The actual makeup bag this month was designed by an artist named Klari, who is known for creating "petri paintings" and I'm pretty sure that the print on the bag is supposed to show a map of San Fran and IPSY headquarters (correct me if I'm wrong). I'm not a huge fan of the print on the bag (it looks like sushi or raw meat or something lol), so I'll probably just give it to my sister. However, the actual bag is the last thing I'm worried about, because to be honest it's what's inside that counts. I received two full sized products and three sample sizes. I'm going to show pictures and swatches of each item I received and a little bit about what I think of each product, then my overall thoughts of the bag will be at the end.

To see everything I received and how I feel/what I think about each product, just keep on reading:

Klorane Smoothing and Relaxing Eye patches
^ I received 2 packets of these soothing eye patches, each packet contains two eye patches and each patch is good for one use. When you purchase the full size product, you receive 7 packets and it's $18.00. These "eye patches" are essentially masks for your under eyes. These particular ones contain soothing cornflower extract, as well as some other soothing ingredients and it is meant to soothe and relax the under eye area.
-I have absolutely been loving these under eye masks lately, and am super excited I received these, however I haven't had a chance to use these ones yet. My favorite time to use these types of products is, usually in the mornings after I wash my face, before I apply makeup to de-puff and relax my under eyes. I'll make sure to update this post once I use them.

Nicole by O.P.I. Roughles nail polish- On What Grounds?
^ This is a full size product and it retails for around $7.00. This nail polish is part of the brand's new "Roughles" collection, and basically it's just a textured polish. This polish is particular, is a beautiful robin's egg blue with deep blue gritty little "rough" pieces in it. I made sure to get a close up of the texture so you guys could see what I'm talking about when I say "rough".
-I really think this is a pretty nail polish, even though these textured polishes just aren't my thing. The coverage went opaque after two coats and took around 10 mins. to totally dry. I really like that you can add a clear coat over the top and it creates a smooth surface, making the polish look like a normal light blue polish with little deep blue specks in it. I most likely will give this polish to my little sister, because she's 12 and loves these types of nail polish.

Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie lipstick- Get Ready
^ This is a deluxe sample size lipstick, and the full size sells for $18.00. I am a huge fan of the Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie lipsticks! I find them to have amazing color pay off, are super creamy, and have a nice moisturizing feel to them.
-This particular shade is a wearable medium pink; the formula is very creamy, has opaque coverage, and a beautiful sheen to it. If you couldn't tell already I really love this lipstick, but the little sample size is so teeny I don't think it will last very long but it is cute- so oh well =)

Be A... Bombshell Cosmetics "Bora Bora" eyeshadow quad
^This is a full size product and retails for $16. This quad has really beautiful colors in it and the color pay off was pretty good as well. When I look at this quad it just makes me think of warm weather and laying by the pool, so I think it was perfect for IPSY to have put this in the bag.
-I used this palette to create a look today and I am very happy with how they performed. The pigmentation was nice, they applied smoothly, and they have lasted and stayed vibrant all day- so I have to say I am super happy with these shadows!

Overall Thoughts: I am pretty happy with this month's bag. I have to admit I wasn't as excited with this month's bag as I have been with previous ones, but I am really happy with the things I've tried.

What did you get in your March IPSY Glam Bag?
