Glittery Cut Crease using the Urban Decay NAKED 3 palette...

Happy weekend fellow makeup junkies! I'm here today to share this pretty dramatic/glittery eye look, using the Urban Decay NAKED 3 palette. When I first bought the NAKED 3 palette, I was super excited to use it; and I did use it for a couple weeks, but other than that it's really only been used a couple times in the last couple months. So I decided to bust that bad boy out and create a super fun, glittery look. I love that to get this look, you really only need a few key products: your NAKED 3 palette, a black liquid liner, black pencil liner, some glitter, and mascara/falsies. For the glitter I used on the lid, I just mixed the two glitters from one of my new Hard Candy Pure Glitter duos; the glitters I used have an overall rose/pink glitter with some holographic and rainbow glitters mixed in. I am totally in love with how this look came together and I seriously can't recommend these gorgeous glitter duos from Hard Candy enough! So, if you're curious on how to achieve this look on your own, just keep reading! Oh, and don't forget to leave me comments on what you think about this look, if you have any questions, or you want to request look!

How To: EYES
-Start off your look by applying your fave eye primer all over the lids and under the lower lash line. You can also add a skin tone base, as well, to really help lock those shadows in place and help the pigmentation stay intense. You can also apply a piece of tape at your outer corner to create a sharp edge, or just use a makeup wipe later on to clean everything up.
-Apply the shadow "Strange" from the NAKED 3 palette, and apply it under the brow to highlight. Then, buff the shade "Limit" into the upper crease to act as your blending/transition shade.
-Blend the shade "Nooner" into the crease as well, making sure to keep it right under your transition shade. You also want to run this color all along your lower lash line.
-Apply the shade "Buzz" all over your mobile lid, leaving the very outer corner blank.
-On a small blending brush, blend the shade "Darkside" into your socket line and outer corner, blending it slightly into the other crease shades. You want this shadow to create a sort of soft cut-crease, and to also be your guide for the eyeliner you'll use to create the actual cut crease (follow me? lol). You also want to run this shade along the outer half of the lower lash line.
-Take a black or a dark color eyeliner and draw a line following your crease. You're going to want to follow the shape of your eye, so it looks right. This may take some playing around to get the shape right, so do your foundation last and keep practicing.
-Use the shade "Blackheart" to smudge and blend out that line, you can also bring this shade down into your outer V and outer corner of your lower lash line, as well.
Re-apply your lid color to sharpen up your cut crease; now is also the time to touch up or re-blend anything you feel needs it.
-Rim your eyes with a black kohl liner, then apply a black liquid liner along the upper lash line to create a pretty dramatic wing shape. You can also apply no liquid liner to create a less intense look.
-Apply glitter base and glitter to the inner 2/3s of your lids. I mixed two different glitters together to create this pink with multicolored glitter mix.
-Curl lashes and apply mascara to the top and bottom lashes. I also applied some pretty natural looking false lashes to help thicken up my lashes and intensify the look.
-Add a little bit of the shadow "Dust" around the tear ducts to help blend the lid with the lower lash line.
-Fill in your brows to help balance and frame the look. I used a pencil to outline my brows, then I filled them in with a brow powder, and set them with a clear mascara.

  1. So gorgeous and glittery. I love the look, it's bold. I've been wanting the Naked 3 palette for awhile now, but I just haven't been able to talk myself completely into it just yet.

    1. Thanks girl! I'm a big fan of the Naked 3 palette, because so many of the shades are unique, but to be honest it doesn't get used that much which makes me sad lol

  2. Absolutely stunning! You're very talented. I don't think I could ever be creative with my eye makeup.

    1. Thanks so much, you are so sweet. I used to be terrible at doing eye makeup, but seriously as cliche as it sounds, practicing really helps. It's taken me years to get to where I am now, and I'm still nowhere near where I want to be. Just keep trying and you'll get it girl, and thankfully we live in the day of Instagram so you don't have to be creative- just be inspired by other peoples creativity <3 <3
