Lorac PRO To Go palette- Look #1- Smokey Eyes with a Pop of Bronze

Yay! I'm super excited for the first look in my Lorac PRO To Go palette series. This first look is a sultry "sandwich" smokey eye with a pop of shimmery bronze in the center of the lid. The warmth on the center lid will really enhance any eye color and make them pop. I love the dimension all the colors bring to the eye, it just gives a really pretty, sexy look. Also I'm really excited about a new trick I have started doing with my eyelashes, that I'll be showing in a future blog post, but I mean they seriously look like false lashes and they're not and that makes me super happy!

So for this look I started off by applying my primer all over the lid and then I added a matte brown base all over the eyelid and brought it up to the crease. Next, I took a big fluffy blending brush and blended "Cafe" all throughout the crease to act as my blending/transition color. I then patted "Mink" all over the lid to really allow the gold shimmers in this color to show through. On a small fluffy brush I took the bronzer in the palette, which is a bit darker than "Cafe" and applied it into the crease to blend out the harsh line between "Mink" and the transition color. To further smoke out this look I took "Black" on a small brush and applied it to the very inner and outer corner of the eyes blending the edges into "Mink" and also taking it onto a tiny fluffy brush, I applied it straight into the crease connecting the inner and outer corners together. I then applied "Shell" to the brow bone to highlight and lift the eye. Now to highlight the center of the lid I wet my brush and applied "Chai" right into the center blending slightly out, but still making sure to leave room for "Mink" to show. Next, I rimmed the eyes with a black pencil leaving the inner corner of the lower waterline open to add a gold pencil. I then set the black liner with the "Black" shadow and the gold liner with "Chai." I feel like that little pop on the waterline adds a bit of fun to the look. On to the lower lash line, I applied that same matte brown base from inner to outer corner and applied "Mink" over top of it. I then applied "Black" right into the outer corner and blended it to connect with the black on the eyelid. I finished off the eyes by highlighting the tear ducts with "Pearl" and adding a few coats of black mascara to the top and bottom lashes.

To contrast with the dark eyes I kept the skin luminous and highlighted. I buffed on a full coverage, long wearing foundation and used a pink toned concealer under the eyes to brighten the under eyes. To further highlight under the eyes I set the concealer with Bare Minerals Well Rested, which really wakes up the eyes. I set the rest of the face with a natural pressed powder. I used the bronzer in the palette to chisel out my cheekbones, temples, jawbone, and the sides of the nose. I then applied the "Coral" blush to backs of my cheeks, above the contour, to further slim my face. To highlight my face I applied a shimmery beige loose powder to the tops of the cheeks, bridge of my nose, and to the cupid's bow. I then applied a brownish nude lipstick and topped it off with a darker nude gloss to add some shine to the lips. To remove the powdery finish from my face and to ensure that my foundation lasts all day I spritzed a makeup setting spray all over my face.

I hope you all really like the first look in this series. I'm really having fun coming up with different looks for this palette. I'm really in love with the shadows in this palette and I feel like even though they are neutral shadows, they really are so versatile and can produce a lot of different looks. I'm super impressed with the pigmentation of all the shadows and even the cheek products as well, they all apply so beautifully and look so pretty on the skin. I can't wait to post the next look tomorrow as I have a really pretty, fresh look planned.

Have a great night <3
