So Jewelmint is a jewelry subscription website that costs $29.99 per month. To start off you take a style quiz that allows the "stylists" to help pick pieces for your showroom that bests suits you. From there you can either pick a piece from your showroom or find something else on the site. If for some reason you don't see something you like one month, you have until the 7th of every month to skip the month or you will be charged the $29.99. Now the charge will only start once you become a monthly member.
Jewelmint offers a large collection of rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, watches, and more and besides their normal Jewelmint range they also offer a couple higher end jewelry ranges as well to choose from. This site literally has the most gorgeous, well made jewelry I have found and the price is amazing. I've been a member for a while now and own quite a few pieces and I love everything I have ever purchased. Also their customer service team is awesome as well, whether on the phone or through email I have never had a problem working things out with them.
So the jewelry piece I chose this month is the "Free As A Bird" necklace. For about a year I have been lusting over the eagle necklace trend and I had found the perfect one for Christmas from Zara, however when I went to place my order it was sold out and I was crushed. I have come across some other eagle necklaces at a couple different stores, but they always felt so cheap so I never purchased one. When I saw this gorgeous necklace on the Jewelmint website I just knew I had to have it, and it did not disappoint me.
The site says: "For the free spirited fashionista, our design includes a sleek snake chain and a golden eagle caught in mid-flight. About the neckalce: Total length is 33.5", neckdrop is 14.25", pendant drop is 2.5", with a 2.25" extender chain and a lobster clasp closure."
Now this necklace is a little longer than I normally like and because my chest is a natural 34D long necklaces look really strange on me, but it does look gorgeous worn long like it comes. However, as soon as I got it I immediately cut the extender chain off that way I could double wrap it around my neck and wear it as a short necklace as well.
I am seriously in love with this necklace! It feels so rich and heavy, yet not too much and it just looks gorgeous on and really dresses up any outfit you add it to. I'm such a huge fan of Jewelmint and actually just purchased another piece tonight from the website lol.
Let me know if any of you are members of Jewelmint and what you think of the site.
