Lorac PRO To Go Eye and Cheek palette (Sephora edition)- Review, pictures, and swatches

Lorac recently came out with an amazing  new palette of eye and cheek products, exclusive to Sephora, called the Lorac PRO To Go palette ($38). Now if you are familiar with Lorac's original PRO palette than you know the texture of the shadows are soft and buttery and that the pigmentation is pretty awesome and this palette was no different. I've had this palette for a little over 2 weeks, because I wanted to fully get a feel for this palette before I gave my opinion on it.

The Eyes:

This palette features 6 eyeshadows:

Pearl: light champagne shimmer

Chai: shimmery warm bronze

Mink: dark grey taupe with golden shimmers

Shell: pearly cream

Cafe: matte medium warm brown with a small amount of siver shimmers

Black: matte black

I really love these shadows. Like the first Lorac PRO palette, the shadows are all super soft and creamy and apply beautifully. Also like the first palette you definitely want to tap your brushes off before applying to the eye, because of how soft these shadows are they do create a fair amount of fall out. I was really happy with all these shadows, but I did feel like the black could have been more pigmented, as it does apply almost more as a charcoal color, but it does build up to a darker black if you layer it. I was also kind of annoyed at why Shell is called a matte, when it's definitely a pearl finish, and even though Cafe is a matte brown it does contain some shimmers in it even though they don't translate so much when they're applied.

Over all the eye shadows are very nice, I mean come on Chai and Mink are amazing colors and the rest are beautiful as well. They all apply super saturated in color (except so much for Black) and look gorgeous on the eyes. Pearl and Shell not only look wonderful on the eyes, but also work beautifully as a highlight on the face as well. Another great thing about these shadows is that they all can be applied wet for an even more saturated color pay off. I was super happy when I used Black wet for eyeliner that it didn't bubble up and leave that hard, gross little weird patch that normally happens when you wet matte shadows and it actually applied perfectly smooth and ultra dark, so that was great.

Face:

The palette also includes two blushes, one shimmery and one matte, and a beautiful matte bronzer:

Coral: shimmery peachy/pink-coral with gold shimmers

Pink: matte, cool-toned pink

Bronze: matte, medium bronze

I find the face products to really be the stars of this palette. The blushes all apply so beautifully and pigmented and they blend like a dream, they are super silky in texture. The bronzer is perfect for contouring and bronzing the face and works for a multitude of skin tones, it's texture is very soft and creamy. Even if I'm not using the eye shadow portion I most always am wearing this bronzer and one of the blushes on a daily basis.  I am just in love with how nicely these apply and how beautiful they look on the skin, they're just absolutely gorgeous.

This palette also comes with two travel brushes. One's a small fluffy shadow brush, which really isn't great for much but will apply the shadow in a pinch. The other is an angled brush, which I was actually pleasantly surprised with, as it applies color precisely and is nice for using as a liner brush and also is great for doing your brows.

Overall I am extremely happy with this palette. The size and contents of this palette make it perfect for travel and even better for storing. I feel like you get an amazing value for your money with these 6 shadows and 3 cheek products. I already own the original PRO palette and it is one of my all time favorites and I feel like this one fits in right along with it. I recommend this palette to anyone who loves neutral shadows or who is looking for a perfect all in one palette to make applying your makeup as easy as possible.
