Happy Saturday my gorgeous makeup junkies! Today I wanted to share with ya'll what I got in my May IPSY Glam Bag! The theme for this month is "Fresh Picks", and IPSY says, "It's a month of crisp air, vibrant flowers, and fresh Glam Bag products! Getting your beauty to bloom all month long will be as easy as lying in the warm grass and basking in the sunshine." I feel like all the products that were included this month are absolutely Summer must-haves, which I think was kind of their point. I also found that most of the products I received were more on the eco-friendly side, which I'm not sure if that's what they were trying to do or if my bag just ended up that way. Now I've read a few very disappointing reviews about this month's bag, but while this wasn't my favorite bag, I was actually really happy with most of the things I received- I'll get into what I didn't like further down, so just keep reading to see everything I received and what I think about them!
What is IPSY: IPSY is a monthly beauty subscription service, as well as a full online beauty community that offers makeup reviews, tutorials, etc. It was created by the super talented YouTube beauty guru Michelle Phan. Each month, subscribers will receive a beautiful Glam Bag with deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products. Members can watch and play along with the stylists with the same products that they are using.

Avene Thermal Spring Water

-Sample Size. I love, love, LOVE this product!! I have pretty dry skin, so I am all about hydrating mists for the face and honestly this is one of the best I've ever tried! I used this spray to set my makeup yesterday and I love how it made my skin look. The nozzle sprays a perfect mist and I really love how dewy and hydrated it made my skin look.
Pacifica Mineral Eyeshadow Duo- Duo #1 Opal & Celestial

Smooth application with gorgeous color pay-off.
-Sample Size. Now while this may look like a full sized product, because it is a good bit of product, but these shadows come available in a quad where each shadow is about the size of this entire duo. I already own the full sized palette (you can purchase it at Target) and I am a big fan of Pacifica's shadows. They have nice pigmentation and are pretty buttery and smooth and that's because these shadows are formulated with coconut to ensure their velvety texture and feel. Opal is a pretty wite/cream with a pink duo-chrome, I love to use this shadow as a highlight for my brow and tear duct. Celestial is a gorgeous peach/gold with some shimmer to it, I love to use this shadow all over the lid for a simple and stunning look.
Eva-NYC Therapy Session Hair Mask

-This is the smaller version that they have for sale on their website. I haven't tried this hair mask yet, but I plan on trying it out the next time I shampoo my hair. I have super dry hair, so I am all about a hair mask so I have high hopes for this one!
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil medium/deep matte bronzer

Bronzing has never been so delicious. -Sample Size. This is one of my all-time favorite bronzers of life! Even with my fair skin I am able to use this as a bronzer and contour powder, and I feel like it gives my skin a gorgeous natural bronzed look. You can definitely go overboard with this bronzer if you're light like me, but I just use a little bit on a small angled or contour brush and apply it all around the outer edges of my face and I just love how it looks. Also, no one can talk about this bronzer without saying how delicious it smells, because it smells just like hot cocoa- YUM!!

-Sample Size. One small complaint I have with IPSY is that I feel like I get sent sunscreen a good bit lol. Literally since joining their site I've received like 3-4 little bottles of sunscreen and while I know how vitally important sunscreen is for you, I do have pretty sensitive and acne-prone skin so I am very picky about what SPF touches my face. Besides that, I actually think I might like this sunscreen. This certain sunscreen is formulated with some great ingredients, without some really yucky ones, and it's water resistant which is something I always look for. I love that the size of this bottle isn't super tiny, so I feel like I can actually use it on my body without running out right away. This little guy is going to be perfect to throw in my bag, so I can have him anytime I feel like I need some SPF. I also think this little bottle will be great to bring with me on bike rides.
Final Thoughts: Overall, I am pretty happy with everything I received. The bronzer, eyeshadow duo, and sunscreen are going straight into my bag where they will be used a lot. My favorite item I received would definitely have to be the Avene thermal spray, because it seriously made my skin look and feel so glowy and hydrated. Like I mentioned, the sunscreen would have to be my least favorite, but that's just me being picky and I haven't tested out the hair mask but when I do I will add an update.
I have already created a makeup look using all the aforementioned products, which I will have posted tomorrow or Monday. I really loved how all the products performed and I may have found my new go-to easy, Summer makeup look.
