Happy Monday (hopefully!) makeup junkies! Today is a super exciting day for me: It's my blog's 1st. birthday! I want to start off by saying thank you to all of you who follow and read my blog, and give me feedback- you guys are the reason I started sharing my makeup in the first place. I love getting to chat with all of you and I hope that ya'll learn from me like I do all of you. I also just want to say how proud I am of how far this blog and my skills have came. Looking back at my early posts, I almost have to laugh at how bad the quality is, but I stuck with it and things are looking better. I'm so excited to see my blog grow even more and I really want all of you to join me on this journey. I'm also thinking of doing a small little giveaway soon, just to say thanks to all of you for supporting me so much!
Back to what you came on here for: today's makeup! I've been having so much fun playing around with the Urban Decay Electric palette and finding ways to incorporate the bright colors into more neutral, everyday looks. So for this eye look, I used all matte browns to create a smokey and grunge-y eye; then I added some some of "Thrash" from the Electric palette into the inner part of my crease, to add a fun pop. Then to make the look even more fun and dramatic, I added some matching neon green glitter right over top. I'll add a picture down below of what this look looks like before I added the glitter, so just in case the glitter is too much for you, you have another option. Since the eye look is mainly all matte I decided to keep the skin matte as well. I used a fuller coverage foundation, because I wanted my face to be as flawless as possible. I also stuck to matte shades on the cheeks and lips as well, but I did add a pretty natural highlight powder to the tops of my cheek bones just so my face didn't look to flat. I really love the way this look came out and I can see it working on lots of different people. Also if you're not a fan of the lime green accent, you can add in any color you prefer. Any color you want should work great!

Thanks babe!! <3
DeleteThis eyeshadow look is absolutely stunning! Love the choice of colours especially since they're not colours you would typically see together but I think that's what brings it all together so well. Congratulations on the 1 year in the bloggersphere! and Happy Birthday! :)
