Smokin' Hot: A Complete Makeup Look Using My December IPSY GlamBag (Holiday 2013)

Hey guys! Today I created a full look using the products I received in my December IPSY bag. I wanted to be able to create a smoky eye that was easy, yet glamorous enough for you to wear out to a holiday party or even New Year's Eve. I am so super impressed with how all the products I received performed, especially the POP Beauty palette and the Be A...Bombshell The One stick- which is now my new favorite lip color atm. Anyways, this whole look is super easy to accomplish and doesn't use a ton of different products, but gives you a look that will impress anyone who sees it. I also wanted to show you two different options for lip colors, so I did a nude lip (using the NYX lipstick) and a bright reddish-pink lip (using the BAB The One stick). Personally I really loved how the red lip looked with the smoky eyes, it gave the whole look a very sexy rock n' roll edge to it but the nude lip looked very classically sultry so do what suits your style best. So to see how to get this look, keep reading!

How To: EYES
-Apply your favorite primer all over your lids and under your lower lash line. Then apply a shimmery white base to the lids only, staying below the crease.
-Highlight your brow bone with a matte cream shadow.
-On a large blending brush, fluff a warm toned, light matte brown shadow into your crease to work as your blending/transition shade. Since the rest of the colors we are using are very cool toned, having that warmth in the crease will help things blend better and it just creates a more complete look.
-Take the lightest shadow in the POP Beauty palette, or a shimmery white shadow if you don't have the palette, and apply it into the inner 1/3 of the upper lids and around the tear ducts to brighten things up.
-Then, take the middle shadow (a medium silverish grey) and apply it to the rest of the lids leaving the very outer corner empty of color. Make sure to blend the line between the white and grey shadows- You want each shadow to blend into the other, so there are no harsh lines.
-On a small blending brush, take that black shadow and apply it into the outer corner and blend slightly into the crease. You want to create a sharp, cat eye effect at the outer corners so wing your shadow up.
-Take a makeup wipe and clean up any fall out you might have, and you also want to use that wipe to sharpen up that outer edge if you need to.
-Apply black eyeliner to the upper lid, you don't have to wing it out. Then run a silver glitter liner, or regular glitter if you want, over the entire line rather thickly.
-Rim your eyes with black liner and also make sure to run that black liner underneath your lower lash line. Apply the black shadow over top the liner and make sure you blend out the line so it's a little softer.
-Taking that same glitter liner, apply it into the inner corner of your lower lash line.
-Apply lots of black mascara to the top and bottom lashes. You can use false lashes if you want to.

How To: FACE
-Use a medium to full coverage foundation to perfect your skin.
-Then apply concealer under your eyes and anywhere you may need some extra coverage.
-Apply the Be A...Bombshell The One stick in "Flustered" onto your cheeks using your fingers.
-Set your T-zone, and anywhere you applied concealer, with powder. I used a lighter powder under my eyes and a powder that matches my skin tone everywhere else.
-Use a matte bronzer to sculpt your face. I used the bronzer under my cheek bones, sides of my forehead, under my jaw bone, and down the sides of my nose to contour.
-Fill in your brows like you normally would. Since the eyes are dramatic, you want your brows to be defined so they don't get lost in the look.
-I showed two different options for the lips. For the first option, I used the NYX Round lipstick in "Iris", which is a frosted peach-nude lipstick. I used the BAB stick in "Flustered" as the second option, which is a gorgeous pink/red color.

Well guys, I really hope ya'll like this look and if you haven't seen my full post on what I received in my December IPSY bag I'll post the link below.
