Hey guys! Today I wanted to share with you this glittery, green Christmas tree inspired eye look. I feel like this look is perfect for a fun Christmas party or a party at the club. It's just a fun, sparkly look and what other time of the year but the Holidays are you going to wear this much glitter? I will also be showing you how to get the rest of the face done too. Since the eyes are so bright and dramatic, I kept the rest if the face very soft and matte looking. I'm so excited for Christmas and have a few more Christmas looks, including some more wearable looks, to get up so you can get some makeup ideas. If you want to see how to create this super sparkly green eye look and how I get my matte face, then keep on reading!!
How-To: EYES
-Apply primer all over your lids and underneath the lower lash line. Then, apply a white cream base all over the lid.
-Apply a matte cream shadow under your brow bone to highlight.
-Next, take a light matte green shadow and blend it into your upper crease to act as your blending shade.
-Blend a medium matte green shadow into your crease as well. You want to use a few different matte green shadows in the crease to create dimension. I used the BH Cosmetics 120 color palette and went back and forth with the whole row of green shadows.
-Apply a shimmery, mid-toned green shadow onto the lid, leaving the very outer corner blank.
-On a smaller blending brush blend a deep, matte olive green shadow into your lower crease. Make sure to blend any harsh lines, you want this look to be very blown out and blended.
-Apply glitter adhesive to the inner 3/4 of the eye, then apply any green glitter you have. I used a mix of two different glitters- an olive green and more iridescent grass green.
-On a small brush blend a deep, shimmery green or black shadow into the outer corner and blend slightly into the crease. Run this color into the outer corner of the lower lash line, as well.
-On the rest of the lower lash line, apply one of the matte greens you used in the crease.
-Apply a shimmery light shadow around the tear ducts. I used "Lumi" from Sugarpill, which is a white base with teal and green duo-chrome.
-Add black liner to your water lines, then add lots of mascara to the top and bottom lashes. I layered two mascaras, so they would be dramatic without having to use falsies.

How-To: FACE
-Apply a pore smoothing primer wherever you need it on your face.
-Apply your favorite foundation that has a matte finish.
,-Take a concealer that is 1-2 shades lighter than your skin and apply it anywhere you want to highlight. I applied it under my eyes, the tops of my cheek bones, down the bridge of my nose, center of the chin and forehead, and the cupid's bow.
-Set the concealer with a light toned powder, then use a powder that matches your skin to set the rest of your face.
-I didn't use any blush or highlight in this look, so I took my matte bronzer and applied it to my cheekbones, the temples and sides of the forehead, my jawbone, chin, and nose.
-Then I filled in my brows using a light brow powder.
-I used a frosted peach lip stick on my lips to complete the look.
