Sunset Eyes - Bright Eyes & Pale Peach Lips -

Hey makeup junkies!! I am so excited to share my version of the "Sunset Eyes" makeup, that I've been seeing all over Instagram and YouTube. I wanted to stick with the normal colors you think of when thinking of a sunset; yellows, pinks, blues and purples. I was really concerned when I first started applying this look, because I'll be honest, I wasn't sure it was going to come together in the end; but seriously I LOVE how it came out in the end. I know it is a super dramatic look, especially with all the colors, but it literally just made my eye color so intense and it just looked really pretty. I've learned that with most colorful looks, it can tend to look a little messy and crazy, but by the time you add liner and lashes it usually looks pretty awesome. My main piece of advice when using so many colors, is to blend, blend, blend and don't be afraid to keep layering the shadows if you feel you blended them too much. It's literally a process of blending, adding color, and blending some more. It just ensures that the colors blend together well and don't look too blocky.

I really hope you guys enjoy looking at this look, as I did creating it. Just keep on scrolling to read how to get this look for yo-self!!

How To: EYES
-Start this look out by applying your favorite eyeshadow primer all over your lids and lower lash line. Apply a piece of tape to the outer edge of your eye, this will help you not only get a sharp outer edge, but will also help keep the bright colors in check.
-Blend a light, matte peach shadow into your upper crease. This will help you blend out the next shade easier, and will also help your crease shades transition to your brow highlight easier. I used "Peach Smoothie" from Makeup Geek
-Blend a neon pink or orange shadow into your crease, making sure to blend it up into your previous shadow. I used the "Neo Orange" pigment from MAC
-Apply a matte yellow shadow to the center of your lid.
-Apply a matte orange to the outer edges of the yellow, this will help it blend into the purple easier and create a really pretty color. I used  Sugarpill's "Butter Cupcake" and "Chickadee" from Makeup Geek
-Blend a matte cream colored shadow underneath the brow to highlight and blend out your crease.
-Take a bright, matte purple and apply it to the outer and inner corner of the lids, then blend it up into the crease, connecting the two. I used Sugarpill's "Poison Plum"
-Make sure you go back in with some of the neon orange to blend out the crease. You're going to want to go back and forth blending and adding color to get the intensity you want.
-Line your upper lid with a black gel liner, winging it out at the outer edges. Then rim your eyes with the same black liner. Add a little bit of a shimmery blue gel liner to the center of your waterline to add a fun pop.
-Run a bright, matte teal shadow underneath the lower lashline, from inner to outer corner. Blend a little bit of a deeper blue to the outer corner.
-Apply a shimmery nude shadow around your tear ducts.
-Curl your lashes and apply mascara to your top and bottom lashes, then add a pair of dramatic falsies to finish off the look.
