Happy Sunday makeup junkies, I hope all of you had an awesome weekend! Today's look is my version of a "day-time smokey eye", using neutral browns in the crease and a shimmery pale pink all over the lids and inner corner to really help brighten the eyes. I wanted to make this look a little more dramatic, so I added thick false lashes and some hot pink lips to really amp it up. For the rest of my face, I applied light layers of creams, liquids, and powders to create a very flawless and sculpted effect. I tried out the Pixi Beauty "H2O Skin Tint", which is a tinted gel for the face, and I'm loving it: it's water resistant, super light, moisturizing, and has decent coverage; I know it's going to be my go-to face product for the hot and humid months. I decided to do this how-to like my last one, using pictures to help explain the steps, which ya'll seemed to like. I'm still debating on whether I should show pictures for all my face steps, or just type out the steps at the end of the post like I normally do; let me know what you guys think. I really like the way this look came out and I hope ya'll do too! Keep reading to see how you can get this look for yourself!
How To: EYES
Step 1- Primer
-Apply your favorite eyeshadow primer/base all over your lids and underneath the lower lash line to help prevent your shadows from creasing.
Step 2- Brow Highlight/Transition
-Highlight under the brows with a matte cream shadow, then apply a light matte brown shadow into your upper crease to act as your blending/transition shade. You want to build up your crease colors slowly, making sure to blend well between each shade, so that you create a blown out/soft smokey eye.
Step 3- Crease
-Blend a slightly deeper brown shadow into your crease, staying right under your transition shade. I used browns with a neutral undertone, so that the crease doesn't lean too cool or warm. This will also make the look more universally flattering to everyone's skin tone.
Step 4- Crease
-Blend a medium/deep brown shadow into the crease. Make sure this shadow stays in your lower crease, then blend it upwards slighty.
Step 5- Base
-Apply a pink cream shadow onto your lids, staying under the crease. Having this base down will help your lid shade show up more shimmery and vibrant. If you don't have a pink base, use a shimmery white or pearl instead.
Step 6- Lid
-Apply a shimmery, pale pink shadow all over your lid, right on top of where you applied that pink base. Keep this color under your crease, and also blend it up into the inner corner of the eye.
Step 7- Crease/Outer Corner
-Blend a dark, matte brown shadow right into your socket line and bring it down into your outer corner, blending it into your lid color.
Step 8- Liquid Liner
-Using black liquid liner, apply a thin/medium line, winging it out at the outer edges. You can make your winged liner as thick or thin as you want.
Step 9- Lower Lash Line & Tear Duct
-Run the darkest brown shadow underneath the lower lash line, blending it out with one of your lighter brown shades. Apply your pink shadow around the tear ducts and into the inner corner of the lower lash line. Then, apply a super shimmery, light color right to your tear ducts to add a bright highlight.
Step 10- Lashes & Liner
-Curl your lashes and apply a light coat of mascara. Apply a pair of dramatic lashes, then tight line your eyes with a black liner. Add a white liner to your bottom water line, then set it with a matte, light pink shadow. You could also apply a nude liner, or just leave the liner white to really open up your eyes.

How To: FACE
-Apply a light-medium coverage foundation, tinted moisturizer, or BB Cream all over your face and blend it down to your neck.
-Add concealer under your eyes and on any blemishes or redness you may have.
-Apply a highlighting concealer under your eyes and down the center of your face to brighten up your complexion and help balance out the drama of the eyes.
-Use a concealer that's a couple shades deeper than your foundation, to contour your cheekbones and temples.
-Set your concealer with a light toned powder, then set the rest of your face with a powder matching your foundation.
-Apply bronzer to your cheekbones, temples, jawline, and sides of the nose of you want.
-Contour your cheekbones with a deeper shade of matte bronzer. Blend, so there are no harsh lines.
-Add some light pink blush to the backs of your cheekbones, making sure to blend it out into your contour and bronzer.
-Apply a highlighting powder to the tops of your cheekbones and down the center of the face very lightly.
LIPS
-Apply a hot pink lipstick to your lips, then top it off with a white or pale gloss to make it a bright, but milky pink.
