Hey guys! Today I have this awesome warm-toned brown smokey eye with a pop of shimmery teal to the center of the lid. I also paired flawless bronzed skin with a warm-toned nude lip, to make sure everything pairs well with each other. I am such a huge fan of this "sandwich" smokey eye, where you keep the darkest colors to the outer edges of the eyes and have a pop of a lighter shade right in the middle. This type of smokey eye is great for people who want to make their eyes look rounder and more open. Since I already have pretty rounded eyes, I normally like to add a winged liner just to help lengthen and extend my eyes so they don't look too doll like. I'm really happy with how the entire look came together and I really like the fact that I tried to keep things in the warmer toned family, so that each feature played off of a different one. I mainly used the new Sigma Beauty Warm Neutrals palette, along with a couple MUG shadows and a Sugarpill loose shadow to complete the eyes. I have really been loving both of the newest Sigma palettes and will hopefully have a review on them up soon, but if you're interested in purchasing either palettes or anything else from Sigma I have a coupon code on the side of my page.

How To: EYES
-Start your look off by applying a primer and/or a skin toned base to blank out your lids and help keep your shadow on all day.
-Highlight under the brow bone with a matte cream shadow, then apply a light/medium matte peach shadow to act as your blending/transition shade.
-Apply a light/medium, orange based brown and apply it all over your lids and up into the crease to blend into your transition shade. You also want to run this color under the lower lash line, from inner to outer corner, and blend it down as far as you're comfortable with. This look will require a fair amount of adding and blending shadows.
-Take a medium matte brown with a slightly warm undertone and apply it to the inner and outer corner of the lids and blend it into the crease, as well.
-Using a deeper orange based brown, repeat the same steps. You want to make sure, that as your shadows get darker, you want to keep them further out towards the outer corners and keep it lower in the crease so that it doesn't get out of control.
-Take a deep burgundy brown shadow and apply it to the inner and outer corners of the eyes, as well as into the crease. You also want to run this color under the lower lashline, but keep it very close to the lashes so that warm shadow still peaks out underneath.
-Apply a shimmery teal shadow onto the center of the lids, making sure to blend out the edges so it fades into the brown shadows. I used "Lumi" from Sugarpill, which has a teal/green/blue duo-chrome in a translucent white base. The effect this shadow gives is gorgeous and glowing, but to bump up the shimmer a little more I added MAC's Reflects Pearl right over top.
-Rim your eyes with a black liner and then use a liquid liner to create a semi-dramatic cat eye along the upper lash line.
-Add mascara and false lashes, if you like, and then fill in your brows to complete the eyes.

How To: FACE
-Prep your face using a pore filling primer. This will help fill in any pores and help smooth out any small lines you might have.
-Using a light/medium coverage foundation, buff all over your skin with a damp sponge. This is a very flawless face, but since we're using a good bit of products, I want each layer to be light and not heavy.
-Next, apply concealer under your eyes and to any blemishes or super red spots.
-Then use a lighter concealer to highlight under the eyes and down the center of the face.
-Set your highlight concealer with a light colored powder, then set the rest of your face with a powder that matches your skin toned.
-Use a large brush and a matte warm toned bronzer and use it to warm up your skin tone. I applied it to the cheekbones, temples, jaw bone, and under my chin. Since I'm not using blush I applied my bronzer in the same area.
-Using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit; I mixed 2 of the bronzers together and contoured under my cheek bones and around my temples making sure to blend it into the bronzer. Then I used the shade "Vanilla" to clean up my contour line and "Banana" to highlight under my eyes.
-Apply a golden highlighting powder to the tops of the cheekbones and down the center of the face lightly.
-For the lips, I started off using Sigma's lip concealer to blank out my natural lip color and create an even base. Next, I lined my lips with a nude lip liner and applied a warm toned, peachy nude lipstick on top. I finished the lips by applying a very thin layer of gloss.
-Set everything in place with a makeup setting spray and you are ready to be glamorous all night!
