What I got in my IPSY Glam Bag- October 2013

Hey guys! I was so excited today when I checked my mail box and found my IPSY Glam Bag waiting for me inside. I wasn't even expecting it in that day, so it was an awesome surprise. Now if by now you don't know what an IPSY Glam Bag is let me explain: It is a $10 monthly beauty subscription service, where to start off you take a style quiz so that they can know what you like, then each month you receive 4-5 deluxe sample size to full size beauty products. Every month you get a different little makeup bag and there's a different theme to go along with it. I've been subscribed to IPSY for a while now and I have to say I am never disappointed with my bag. They always match my products to me pretty perfectly and this month was no exception.

This month's theme was "The Art of Beauty" and the makeup bag that came with it fit along with the theme perfectly. The bag is white with fuschia trim and writing that say, "Love of beauty is taste. The creation of beauty is art." I am seriously in love with the bag and the beautiful little quote, so the bag has already made a nice little home in my purse. I received five items in my bag and I'm pretty sure 4 out of 5 items are full sized. This month I received LA Fresh Oil Free Face Cleanser wet wipes, Sexy Hair's Style Sexy Hair Spray Clay, Coastal Scents BR-C-No2 eyeshadow brush, Zoya's nail polish in "Mason", and Bella Terra's mineral cosmetics mineral shimmer in "Navy". I seriously am obsessed with everything I received this month, they're all really great products 

La Fresh Oil-Free Face Cleanser wet wipes

^Bye-bye dirt, oil, and all those other drying cleansers. Hello fresh, clean, glowing skin. La Fresh wipes refresh and purify all skin types with a luscious blend of Aloe, Cucumber, Papaya, Pineapple, Marshmallow, Jojoba, Vitamin C & Vitamin E. This skin-loving, fresh water-conserving product is free of parabens, sulfates, triclosan, dyes, PEGs, artificial fragrances & animal byproducts. 

-I found that these wipes are nice to refresh or cleanse off your face during the day or night. It's perfect for after working out, as well. These wipes will remove light makeup, but not anything heavy. They also have a nice light scent.

Sexy Hair SyleSexyHair Spray Clay

^This is a texturizing spray clay. You spray into your hair for pliable hold and texture to finish desired style.

-I really like the texture this gave my curled hair. It also gave me some nice volume without making my hair greasy or sticky feeling.

Coastal Scents BR-C-No2 eyeshadow brush

^This is a large eyeshadow shading brush. 

-I wasn't overly impressed by this brush. It feels like a $1 ELF brush. I didn't really love how this applied shadow to the lid, it made them go on sheer. The bristles are decently soft and it is rather large, so I do like it as a blender brush and also to apply my brow highlight.

Zoya nail polish in "Mason"

^Zoya nail polish in Mason can be best described as an exciting red violet or "Fandango Pink" metallic.

-This is a beautiful deep fuschia color with pink shimmers. It applied fully opaque in two coats and has a gorgeous shine to it. This was a full size bottle and I am super impressed by the color. I have always been a big fan of Zoya nail polish, their formula is great and it always lasts for a long time.

Bell Terra Mineral Cosmetics mineral shimmer in "Navy"

^These mineral shimmers can be used eight ways: as a creamy shadow, matte shadow, eye liner, lip color, nail polish, body glitter, mascara, and hair streaks

^This shimmer powder is absolutely stunning. It's a deep navy blue with a lighter blue shimmer running through it. It applied so beautifully to the lid and lasted for hours without fading. I really want to look into purchasing more of these shimmer powders, because they are really amazing.

Final Thoughts: I am so happy with this month's bag. All the products are perfect for the Autumn season and they all work really amazing. I have to say the makeup brush isn't that great, but it does work. My favorite things are the nail polish and mineral shimmer, also the hair texturizer works great as well. I already can't wait for next month's bag!
