Lashes and Leather MUA: FOTD: Taupe Eyes With Teal Glitter Liner / A Twist On Everyday Makeup!

Hey guys! I just wanted to pop on here real quick to share with ya'll my face of the day. This is just a simple taupe eye look with fun teal glitter liner to add some pop to the look. I wore this look to my fiance's grandmother's birthday lunch and I really loved it. I feel like glitter liner is a really quick way to punch up an otherwise neutral look. I recently received a mini version of Lancome's "Taupe Craze" as a gift with purchase and I absolutely fell in love! This little palette comes with 5 colors- 2 shimmery/glittery taupe shades, a satin cream, matte medium brown, and a deep matte brown with silver shimmers. This small palette has wiggled it's way into my everyday makeup routine and I am so not complaining. This palette has the perfect shades to make a super easy/totally glamorous everyday look or you can use the deep shades to make a super sexy evening look as well. I know for sure when I finish off this mini palette I am buying it in the full size because it is just so, so pretty. So with this look I just applied a shimmery taupe shadow all over the lid. Then blended the medium matte brown into the crease, outer corner, and lower lash liner and then highlighted the brow bone with the satin cream shadow. I then took the deepest matte brown with silver sparkles and blended it right into the socket line and outer corner to slightly smoke out the look. For the eyeliner I started off by taking a waterproof black liquid liner and lined my upper lash line, winging it out at the edges. I use a black liner first, so that the glitter liner shows up that much more vivid. Then using a teal glitter liner from Wet 'n Wild I did two coats right on top of the liquid liner. Black liner on the water lines and lots of mascara finish off this easy, yet super fun look.
