Lorac PRO To Go palette- Look #2- Cat Eyeliner & Burgundy lips and Lashes

So for look number 2 in my Lorac PRO To Go series I decided to keep my eyes relatively natural and used the matte black in the palette as an eyeliner creating a cat eye shape. I've been super inspired lately by the upcoming Fall trends, and even though it's still super hot here in Southern Louisiana I'm already pulling out my dark lipsticks.  I recently repurchased Revlon's Super Lustrous lipstick in Black Cherry and I am absolutely in love with this rich, deep blackened red and I think it went great with the neutral eyes and semi-dramatic winged liner. This look is perfect for Fall or any time if you just want to change up the lip color.

For the eyes I started off, as always, by priming the lids and lower lash line and then I added a white base to just the lid and right under the brow to really carve them out, since I plan on leaving them natural and not filling them in. Next I took "Pearl" and applied it all over the lid on top of the white base and then I applied "Shell" onto the brow bone to highlight the eyes. I then took "Cafe" on a big fluffy blending brush and fluffed that color all throughout the crease. Then on a smaller crease brush I applied the bronzer from the palette right into the outer corner and socket and underneath the lower lash line. I took a shimmery white Jumbo Pencil and applied it on the tear ducts and applied "Pearl" on top to brighten the eyes further. For the eyeliner I used a makeup setting spray to wet the angled brush that came in the palette and dipped it into "Black" and lined my eyes creating a cat eye shape. I applied black eyeliner to the upper lashes and then on the bottom lashes I used a burgundy mascara which not only matches the lipstick I used, but also really made my eye color pop and stand out. I then tightlined my eyes with a black pencil and lined the lower waterline with a nude pencil.

Since the lips are so dark I wanted to keep the rest of the face very luminous. So first I prepped my skin with an intense moisturizer to really hydrate my skin and make sure there was no dry patches showing. Next I applied a primer and added a B.B. cream on top to even my complexion out and help cover any redness. Then I applied concealer under my eyes and on any blemishes or redness still showing through. Then to further brighten my complexion I took a light pink illuminating pen and used it to highlight under my eyes and to all the high points on my face. Then I set my base with a sheer loose powder to ensure that it stays in place, yet still allows the glow to show through. I used the bronzer in the palette to contour and bronze my face and then I took the matte pink blush and applied it to my cheekbones. Then to give my skin that extra bit of glow I applied a powder highlight on the tops of my cheekbones, bridge of my nose, cupid's bow, chin, and tops of my brows. I kept my eyebrows super natural and just applied a bit of tinted brow gel to tame the hairs. To finish this look off I lined my lips with a deep plum lip liner and applied a deep burgundy lipstick on top.

I really hope you all like the second look in this series. It was super easy to accomplish and really makes a statement with the eyeliner and lipstick, yet still looks natural and pretty. This look really has me excited for Fall and it's makeup colors and trends. I'll have another look up tomorrow so keep an eye out.

Hope ya'll are having a great weekend so far!
