Complete Drugstore Eye and Face Look

Anyone who knows me, knows that I love my drugstore makep and I have a rather large collection of it. However, in the last year or so I have built up up a good amount of high end products as well and I tend to sometimes forget to use some of my old favorites from the drugstore. Today I wanted to challenge myself (I say challenge lightly lol) to do a full look using ONLY drugstore/low end products.

So for today's look I wanted to a very warm copper-y eye with sun-kissed skin and a neutral lip.

Yesterday I bought the Maybelline pigment in "Improper Copper" which is a beautiful shimmery, warm copper color. Even though I have only used this pigment once it is already my new favorite out of all the Maybelline pigments, which is saying a lot because they're all pretty much amazing. So I applied that color all over the lid and then added a shimmery bronze color in the inner corner. I kept the rest of the eye relatively matte using a mix of light, medium, and dark warm browns in the crease. I did also apply a shimmery, dark red brown from a Wet 'n Wild palette to the socket line and outer corner but I did end up bleding a matte dark brown over the top of that so you only get a bit of that sparkle shining through. I applied a black liquid liner to the lash line on the lid and winged it out a bit. A copper eyeliner on the waterline really helped pull this look together and it brought out the warmth in my eyes even more. I applied the darkest matte brown I used to the lower lash line and highlighted the brow bone with a matte cream shade. I also applied a shimmery nude pigment to the tear ducts to really brighten up the eyes. I made sure to apply loads of mascara to the top and bottom lashes to complete the look and open my eyes up even more.

For the face I used my favorite primer and BB cream of the moment to even out my skin tone. I used my heavy duty concealer in a ultra light shade to highlight my face and cover my dark circles. I then set everything using 2 different powders, a translucent one for the light areas and a powder the same color as my skin to set the rest. I then contoured/bronzed my face on the temples, under the cheekbones and jawbone, and the sides of my nose. I then used a matte, tawny colored blush on the apples of my cheeks blending into the bronzer. Next, I highlighted my face using a champagne highlighting powder. I didn't want to fill in my eyebrows so I just used a tinted brow gel to give them structure and hold without them looking harsh. A neutral nude lip completed this look perfectly.
