4th of July look #3- Blue winged liner, red lips, and sun kissed skin using UD Naked Basics

Hi loves! This look is the 3rd one in my 4th of July series. This look is for all you who prefer a more simple way to show your patriotism. I wanted the skin to be very sun-kissed and glowy and the eyes to be natural with a fun royal blue winged liner. This look, even without the bright blue liner, is one of my all time favorite go-to looks. To me the bronzed up skin and light eyes just screams Summertime. I feel like this makeup is perfect for a super relaxed BBQ or anything where you just want to be casual, yet still in theme for the day.

For the eyes I started off by applying primer all over the lids, up to the brow and a white base to the eyelid. I then used the UD Naked Basics palette to complete the rest of the look. I used "Venus" all over the lid, "Naked 2" and "Faint" to the crease, outer corner, and lower lashline, and I mixed "Foxy" and "W.O.S." together to highlight the brow bone. To do the eyeliner, I started off by lining the lid with a black liquid liner and winged it out. Next, I applied a royal blue liquid liner over the top. I like to use the black liner underneath so that the blue goes on even more vibrant and bright. I applied a black pencil liner to the tightline and a white pencil to the waterline. To complete the look I applied a shimmery white pigment on the tear duct to further brighten the eyes and applied lots of mascara to the lashes.

For the face, I knew that I wanted to have a dewy, sun kissed look to the skin. So I started off by applying a C.C. cream to the face as a primer. It gives the skin a dewy, gorgeous glow, hydrates the skin, and helps the foundation goes on smoother. Over top of that I blended a brightening, light/medium coverage foundation using a beauty blender. Using a lighter concealer I highlighted all the areas of the face that I wanted to bring forward and then I set it with a light, translucent powder that still allowed the glow to show through. I set the rest of the face with a normal light-weight powder that is the same color as my skin. Next, I contoured my face with a matte bronze color and blended it onto my cheekbones, temples, neck, chin, nose, and chest to create a very bronze-y look to my skin. I then applied a shimmery coral blush onto the apples of my cheeks blending it up into the bronzer and slightly over the nose. I feel like this mix of bronzer and blush make you look like you've spent a wonderful day out in the sun . I topped the skin off with a shimmery highlighter to the tops of the cheekbones, bridge of my nose, cupids bow, and a tiny bit to the chin and forehead. I sprayed my face with a hydrating, mineral water to get rid of any powdery residue and to further enhance the glow of the skin. I love that this makeup really perks up the skin and even though I am super sick right now my skin just doesn't show it.

To complete this look I applied a bright red lip liner and topped it off with an opaque red lipgloss. I feel like no 4th of July look is complete without red lips and I really love the look of the lipgloss and it is a long wear gloss, so it stays on for hours and doesn't smear around. It also dries to a very comfy finish on the lips.

I really hope you all love this look. Even though I'm not allowed to go anywhere tomorrow, I will be wearing this look tomorrow to pop fireworks at home with my fiancee. This makeup is super easy to achieve and will give you a gorgeous, Americana look.

I really hope all of you have a fun and safe 4th!
