Warm & Cozy Winter Smoky Eyes with Flawless Skin and Nude lips

Hey guys! I hope everyone had a great weekend and was able to stay warm in this freezing weather. Today's makeup how-to is inspired by being warm and cozy. On the eyes, I used lots of warm, matte brown shadows to create a very warm and blown out smoky eye effect. Then, on the face, I kept the skin soft and glowy looking with warm bronze and coral cheeks and naturally nude lips. This look just makes me feel so warm and cozy, yet it is still extremely sexy. My fiancee really loved this look, he said it was very sultry- so this look is male certified! I'm seriously loving every single product I used on my face here and it's all pretty much drugstore products only, which is a huge bonus. I'm planning on having a blog post up about my current foundation routine up sometime this week and I'm super excited to talk about all these products! I used Makeup Geek shadows and some shadows from the Lorac PRO palette to do the eyes and I have to say that I am obsessed with how these very warm browns look on my eyes. It just really brings out the warmth in my eyes and I know it's hard to see in the pics, but in real life my eyes were so bright and warm looking- it was beautiful. This look will be amazing on every eye color and many different skin tones, however if you are super cool toned you may want to use more cooler toned browns to get a similar look. To see how to get this look for yourself, just keep reading!

How To: EYES
-Apply your favorite primer all over your lids and down onto the lower lash line. Then, apply a matte brown cream shadow onto the lids only.
-Apply a matte cream shadow right under your brow to highlight. Then, blend a matte peach shadow into the upper crease to act as your blending/transition shade. This look is very blown out and will require a lot of blending.
-Blend a warm, orange toned light brown into your crease, making sure to blend it up into your previous shade. This look is all matte, so make sure you're not using anything with shimmer in it.
-Apply a deep, warm toned brown and apply it onto the lid.
-Blend a deep, red toned brown into your lower crease to help blend the lid color into the crease colors.
-On a small brush, apply a very dark warm brown into the inner and outer corner of the lid, then bring it into the socket as well. Make sure to blend this color into the lid color and crease- you don't want any harsh lines.
-On the lower lash line apply the light brown shadow from the inner to the outer corner, you also want to bring it up around the tear ducts also. Apply the deep brown shadow right underneath the lashes. You want your lower lash line to meet up and blend into the upper lid.
-Go back and blend everything and touch up any colors that need to be touched up.
-Curl your lashes and apply mascara to your top and bottom lashes, then rim your eyes with black eyeliner.

Beyonce - Mine- Inspired Makeup Look

Hey guys! First off, Happy New Year's everyone. I hope you all had wonderful holidays. Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while, I got extremely ill the day after New Years day and am only now getting better. I will save yall from the gross information and just move on to talking about today's look. I, like so many others right now, am obsessed with Beyonce and her new album/video release. So today's makeup look is inspired by her music video for the song "Mine". I am seriously loving ALL the makeup looks from these videos she released, but the pretty blue eye look from "Mine" is just so eye catching so I just had to try and create a look like it. Now I know I don't look anything like Beyonce, but I tried to keep the makeup as closely inspired by the original look as I could. After it was all said and done, this type of eye look just doesn't suit my eye shape. The way the shadows are placed and the white in the inner waterline make my already round eyes look way too round and doll like, so after taking pictures I applied black into the waterlines to make my eyes look less round and I really like the way it looked. I really want to do some more Beyonce-inspired makeup looks, so I will most likely have some more up soon. Anyways, I'm so happy to be feeling better and to be back on here with yall. So if you're curious on how to get this Beyonce "Mine" inspired look, just keep reading!

How To: EYES
-Start off by applying your favorite primer all over your lids and underneath the lower lash line. Then, apply a bright blue base onto the eyelid only, staying under the crease.
-Highlight with a matte shade that corresponds with your skin tone. I used a matte cream shade.
-With a large fluffy brush, fluff a medium rose toned shade. I used "Exposed" blush from Tarte, which worked beautifully. You want this shade to look seamless in the crease and blend it up until it disappears into the brow highlight.
-Apply a bright teal blue shadow into the center of the lid. You want this color to go up into the crease.
-Take a deep shimmery blue shadow and apply it into the inner and outer corner of your eyes. Make sure to blend it into the other blue shade on your lid.
-Take a light shimmery shadow and apply it right into the center of your lid to really brighten it up. I used "Lumi" from Sugarpill, which is a white loose shadow with a teal duo-chrome.
-Go back in with the crease color and blend out the edges. You also want to touch up the other colors and clean up any fall out.
-Take a deep green shimmery shadow and apply it underneath the lower lash line.
-Add a shimmery white shadow around the tear ducts to further brighten up the eyes. This look is all about making the eyes look BIG and round and bright.
-Tightline your eyes with a black liner, then line your lower waterlines with a white liner.
-Curl your eyelashes and apply lots of mascara to your top and bottom lashes.

Beyonce's skin was flawless in this video. She had a matte, yet glowy look to her skin. I also wanted to incorporate the blush we used on the eyes onto the cheeks. I used some new products and I have to say I really love how amazing my skin looks- It's flawless and glowing.

How To: FACE
-Apply a skin smoothing primer all over your face to even out the texture of your skin and prep it for foundation.
-Apply a full coverage foundation all over your face using a damp sponge.
-Apply a concealer that's 1-2 shades lighter than your foundation underneath your eyes and down the center of your face.
-Set your concealer with a light powder, then set everything else with a powder that matches your foundation.
-Use a light matte bronzer to sculpt out your face. I applied it under my cheek bones, along my temples, under my jaw bone, and down the sides of my nose.
-Take the same blush you used on your eyes and apply it to your cheek bones.
-Use a natural looking highlighting powder and apply it to the tops of your cheek bones and down the center of your face.
-Fill in your brows like you normally would, keeping them natural yet defined.
-Add a nude lipstick to your lips to finish your Beyonce transformation.
